I cannot afford to be stranded in the middle of nowhere with no cell service. I need to make sure that everything is new or near new so I can minimize breakdowns. I had to bring it up to my standards. Now it's ready to roll. I suppose I could have just ordered it when I am in the USA next Month and just show up at a large BMW dealership. (Of course, OIlburner did lose his keys the first day of our trip. And did have to resort to the backup set that I was carrying. And of course, I had to carry them the rest of the trip as he was afraid he would lose them too.) I just sort of stumbled across it while working on the wiring. It was pretty well hidden and awkward to reach so I left it there.
