You sure know your tires. The tread pattern must have given it away. Sharp eyes you have over there. I am sure that they will handle the way they should
I was actually intending to wait until Spring, but the tires were on sale for much less than I thought they would cost. Now I feel safer. It seems smoother already, either that or it's my imagination.
My shoe collection consists of a huge collection of flimsy sandals and only 1 or 2 shoes which I keep for work, or for when I have to dress up when we go out (which is seldom). Shoeless is best if I can get away with it, and I have been living in my Unshoes ever since I bought them. They are like being barefoot, without looking like you are barefoot, but when I get home I ditch them too
can't fool you, can I ? It's getting to that transition time where it is getting chilly. I generally wear sandals down to 10°c, then I switch from shorts to jeans but still wear sandals, but perhaps a more closed design like Keens, or Solomon Amphibians. I like the sockless, water type sandals.
I actually have brand new shoes in boxes just waiting for me to wear, but I only use one at a time. When I find a shoe that feels comfortable I buy one or more as spares. You save a lot of shopping time that way. I also have new pants and dress shirts still in packages, just waiting . . .
in spite of this you will usually find me in my favourite attire; Tank tops, shorts and barefoot, or unshoes. I am so predictable
This was a safety decision. I knew I needed new tires anyway but bought then now instead waiting for Spring. Now I feel safer going into Fall. Plus I am planning a multiday trip in a couple of weeks if the weather holds out.
It feels nice to have new shoes for my baby "nu2me"
Ahh PR2's, my favourite...

Deleteno wonder it was breezy under my shorts. I didn't realize that my thong was showing, or not
I'm a big fan of the PR2 tires too!!! The last set went over 11,000 Miles (17,700 km).

DeleteI have lots of pink things. My laptop case in Pink and I have a pink shirt, "not that there's anything wrong with that"
Hope you are in healing mode

ReplyDeleteYou may have gotten new shoes too but won't wear them until absolutely necessary so we may never know.......
