Who would have thought

that two young people who got married on this day, June 5th, 1969 would still be here 43 years later. I don't know where the years went . . . but I feel younger than I look

I'm looking forward to going to bed early, even if I'm not tired

I hope you have a fabulous day and do something special for dinner this evening, whether it is dinner out or an intimate dinner for two at home.

Nothing fancy today. In fact it's just an ordinary, normal routine day. I have to get my own dinner as Mrs Skoot has music lessons tonight. I also have to get my own dinner tomorrow too as she is going out and I have a club meeting. I'm afraid an amourous dinner is going to have to wait until Friday night, or perhaps a Sunday Brunch somewhere special (special = More $$)

I wished you could get Scarlett working so we could ride North VI. You have to send me the exact part number or description and I could check some places over here.

thank you for your well wishes

You are soooo lucky to have found Brandy, and that she hasn't kicked you out yet (just kidding) If you get her that Tiger 800 you will have a "spare" once in a while.

      and thank you

I guess I'm getting old, but I think Young if that means anything. I don't know where the years went, they just flew by . . .

I'm waiting for you to build your "spare" bedroom, then we will make plans to fly over. I need to experience country living, the way it was in the 40's . Post a few photos of Linda once in a while, we miss her

That gives me a good idea, if only I had a "Life Clock", where I could turn back the hands. 30 years will go faster than you think. Just a couple of blinks and you wonder what happened

  14. Bob,

Warmest congratulations, that's amazing!! What is also amazing that Yvonne hasn't stuck a knife in you :-)

Well done both of you. A deferred anniversary trip present for Yvonne to NZ our coming summer perhaps?

I think your CEO is more rigid than mine. And I hide all the knives when I show up with something new.

and thank you for your deferred Anniversary tickets to NZ. I accept. Imagine, with your airfare, a place to stay, and use of a certain Striple, I would be in 7th heaven. It would be memories of a lifetime.

I'm going to start riding on the left side of the road to get some practice. I am going to start checking my mailbox every day when I get home just waiting for your envelope to arrive. You are indeed the best friend a person could have

  16. Bobskoot and Mrs. Bobskoot,

Congratulations on your Anniversary! June 5th was a good day to get married. It is the same anniversary as my parents, who celebrated 51 years together before he passed away two years ago.

I spoke to my mom probably three times during the day, yesterday as it's kind of hard on her still. But, I'm very thankful for all the memories she has to comfort her and push her forward.

You and your sweet bride look very happy together... Love is grand!

    Happy Anniversary!!!

I am more conscious of age than before. we now have something in common related by the date June 5th. I'd better get moving, I need to squeeze more into life into the next 8 years, or I may run out of time. I thought you mentioned your Anniversary this week too.
