Pano TEST: Shelter Island Marina, Richmond, BC

A few posts back   (here)  ,   Richard mentioned  that it would have been nice to be able to see my Panoramic photo at full size.

Well,  I've been working on it.

Feel free to navigate and move around the image using the navigation tools, and remember to click the FULL SCREEN icon on the right

  1. When I click on the picture, it goes black and nothing happens....

I had several others "test" this before I went live with it. But I just emailed you the direct link. Your browser must be missing drivers.

    2. Bob, I got your email. I accessed it from the email no problem. Now, the pic on the blog works too! Strange!

Your browser was missing some CODEC which you now have, so going forward shouldn't be a problem. I want to do a larger one when the weather clears. I just wanted to make sure this worked first

  2. Bob --

Beautiful panoramic! Really puts me right there, much more than an ordinary photograph. I like the way it allows the eye to move around, just as if I was there.

    Something to learn about.

That's a graceful bridge in the background.

      that's the Alex Fraser Bridge

there are also floating homes nearly under the bridge. I had been trying to find a free solution to these sort of panos for years

  3. It works well and can even pan and zoom within the post without even clicking on the image.

True, BUT . . the power is clicking to FULL SCREEN, rather than looking at a small window. I had no time to shoot a 360° as I had to do club stuff this weekend and it was pouring rain all day. I'm glad I got it to work

    2. I like the full screen and the zoom and pan. I haven't tried it on the iPhone yet...

I liked the full screen mode too. Nearly like being there, sort of . . .

  5. Up and live ... But you mean I wasn't the only test run (I don't feel as special anymore!) Looks good. Like how it works embedded in the blog as well.

You were my only guinea pig. After you managed to "test" it for me, I also sent the link to someone else. So thank you for all your help.

You were my first and only and that makes you very Special
