Dar's mini shoe challenge

Dar has issued another Mini shoe Challange

It's actually harder than it sounds as my preferred favourite shoe is being barefoot. I did find a barefoot type sandal but I thought you were tired looking at it all the time, so I dusted off a very comfortable pair of strappy shoes which was originally part of my female halloween costume from a few years ago.

My riding boots are a new pair of Alpinestars* which I have only worn a few times. I didn't have time to apply the RED nail polish. I made a mess the last time

I really wanted a RED pair but you don't realize how hard it was for me to shop around in the ladies shoe department trying them on to find out what size I needed. You know how it is, other people look but pretend that they aren't looking

  1. OK...Don't tell me you did this just to make me laugh! I will say to you what I have said repeatedly to Rich. You silly man!

You mean that Rich is a silly man too ? Then we are related. I hope his hand gets better. It's a shame he can't ride. I hope you find another Temp Agency, as that one isn't taking care of your best interests

I wanted to apply the Red polish but I couldn't find my Toe Spacers. I did like your shade of Red though

If it got too hot and I had shifter pads, then it would be good to feel the breeze . . . It's only the unintended sudden stops that worry me .

  4. Hilarious! Not sure that is the right red for you though ... maybe try pink!

RED or Pink would be great. If I can find some leather dye somewhere I can try to change the colour, or did you mean PINK toe nail polish ?

    2. Pink nail polish, but now that you mention a pink shoe that would be good too! >wink<

Yes, the swelling is nearly gone but I still have to be careful and not walk so much, especially as I have to wear riding boots all day for the next week or so. Those shoes are very comfortable and fit snug as a glove. It doesn't take long to get used to the heels, just take smaller steps and push your stomach out

  8. My stomach is ALREADY OUT! I need to loose weight! haha

Have a safe trip tomorrow, Bob!

I would be safe to say that ALL of us could use a bit of weight reduction. Less weight is like having a bigger scooter, more power and go faster. Same weight means to buy the next size with larger engine.

I noticed your Whistler Breakfast post on ADVrider.com You had a good day, and good food too.

  10. Hmmm...might also want to invest a little time in moisturizing the skin. ;). You need a pedicure. Then they could have painted the nails for you.

Have a great, and safe, trip tomorrow!!

right you are. You don't know how many times Mrs Skoot says to me that I have dirty feet. Also I have to wash them all the time. I guess with all that soap I need moisturizer. The dirt is so imbedded that I can't get it clean. Show me your painted toe nails and maybe I'll try again.

Hope you are having fun on your riding vacation.
