I have a visiting blogger for a few days, so it will be a/c in the car, T-shirt and sandals of course. Not so sure about the shirtless unless you like to see bulges. Hope you get warmer weather
Our temperatures are recorded at YVR which is on the water and much cooler than 10 miles farther inland. Where I am it could be 10°c warmer than what you see on the news. It's been over 80°f the past few days. For the next few days it will be in the low to mid 90°F range. Too hot to ride. I stop riding at 25°c, too hot for me unless I am touring. At 10°c I change into shorts and sandals so now I am in summer mode until next October.
So here I was thinking it's warm out for a ride; but at least it's not hot like summer!!!!! Talk about the power of suggestion:) I had a great ride today, 720 km on the Beast. 5A north of Princeton was amazing. All the years I've been riding in that area, I've never seen such vivid greens. It won't stay like that for long with the heat.
The Duffey Lake Rd is calling my name. I can hardly wait.
Sounds interesting. Thanks Bob. I'll check it out the next time I do the ride. It might be tomorrow if I'm not to tired. Right at the moment, I'm kind of funned out.
Don't tell me about the heat. i don't know how you can stand being so hot. It is not generally hot around here except for the past few years we have been drier and hotter than usual while there is flooding in other places
We are going into a heat wave for the next week, so it will be the car and A/C for me. Not far from Vancouver it will be around 100°F
Enjoy your weekend, too. Have a wonderful shoeless (and shirtless?) time.

DeleteI did the Duffy last September. I also like 5A, did you stop at Kentucky Aleyne Lake. It is very near the north end of 5A just south of the connector

It has beautiful turquoise water. My weekends lately have been busy so no time for riding.

DeleteAhh Bob, if you ever visit Australia you won't know what hit you! Those kinds of temps are a pleasant spring day, and still cold for some!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely weekend.
